  Admittedly, the last thing Monument needs is another mediocre to awful Mexican place. Fortunately, it turns out this place is nowhere near mediocre. In fact, it's some of the finest Mexican food I've ever eaten, and I've eaten a lot of it in my life. I had the Carnitas plate, which came with some nice fresh salad, home made corn tortillas, fresh chips and some very delicious sauces. It was all very lovingly prepared and unlike 99% of the Mexican fare you will find anywhere in the US. The owners come from a very successful family run restaurant in Southern California and they REALLY know what they are doing. Such a gem to have right here in Monument!
